Shah Mohammad Wali Ullah

Shah Mohammad Wali Ullah is one of the prominent Islamic figures in Bangladesh's media and banking sectors in the modern era, who has played an exceptional role in the promotion of Islamic education through his knowledge, work, and leadership. He was born on December 12, 1976, in a well-known religious family in Mirzapur village, Habiganj district. His father, Mohammad Ramiz Shah (RA), and mother, Tahera Khatun, raised Wali Ullah with a deep interest in Islamic education and ideals from a young age.

Shah Wali Ullah began his educational journey at the primary school in his village. He later enrolled in the famous institution, Shaistaganj Alia Madrasa, in Habiganj, known for its Ummul Madaris. After studying there for some time, he joined Jamia Qasimia Kamil Madrasa in Narsingdi. In 1991, he passed the Dakhil exam, and in 1993, he passed the Alim exam with distinction. He then continued his studies and successfully passed the Kamil (Hadith, Fiqh, and Tafsir) exams with first division. Later, he earned his Master's degree in "Dawah and Fatwa" and "Islamic Economics and Banking" from Al-Azhar University, Egypt.
